Evenflo Soft And Wide Gate Taupe & Chocolate
Written by admin on April 24, 2009 – 2:06 pm -Specially designed to fit varying doorway widths, the Soft and Wide Gate from Evenflo is a sturdy and reliable gate that helps protect babies from six to 24 months. This gate expands from 38 to 60 inches so it fits into even large openings with ease. Incredibly easy to install and move, this handy protective device is made of lightweight steel tubes with polyester and nylon and soft but strong mesh panels that won’t damage door frames.

Expandable from 38 to 60 inches to fit even large openings. View larger.
The Soft and Wide Gate installs quickly and easily with no tools. Clear markings on the knobs (”ADJUST,” “IN,” “OUT”) indicate how to contract the tubes. And the pressure mounting means zero to minimal alteration or damage to doorways. Once installed, the gate also smoothly uninstalls, an option that’s great once baby has gone to bed for the night, or when you’re traveling, either to play dates or on vacation.

White Castle livingroom looks fabulous but would you move in?
Written by admin on October 7, 2008 – 1:44 am -This loft designed by Steve Blatz is truly a unique one, a monochromatic look blends with contemporary art, but if you’d live there after a few hours you’d feel dizzy - at least I know I would. I like that it’s one continuous space without doors and unnecessary walls. Private art dealer Olivier Renaud-Clément lives in this 1,500 square-feet apartment that was intended to showcase his art collection and italian designs of the ’60s and ’70s.

Very odd designed house in Tokyo, Japan
Written by admin on October 2, 2008 – 1:41 am -This house looks nothing like its neighbors on a hill of Yokohama. It has wild shapes and an (IMO ugly) grey color, large interior space that cannot be used (unless you’re 10 feet tall) but of course looks really modern. The roof which looks as if barnacled lets in light through the glass on the top of the tube-shaped windows that are set avoiding shades and eye gaze of the neighbors… It sure is an architectural achievement but I would definitely hire a better interior designer, because it looks awful right now.

Belgium again - an old barn turned into contemporary home
Written by admin on October 1, 2008 – 9:57 am -Look what architect Rita Huys from Buro2, did with an old barn in the rolling hills of Central West Flanders, Belgium! The goal was to maintain the building’s physical and emotional connection to the surrounding landscape and to create an elegant interior with a rustic touch. The result speaks for itself, it looks amazing! I would move in without hesitation!

With five floors and 3230 sq feet they have plenty of space to live in but it looks like they manage it pretty well.
