Matthew Plummer-Fernandez made a chair that is designed after the frequency of a sound wave. Yep, you read it right, after listening to 700 different sounds Matthew chose this particular one (you can listen it on his website) and took the 3D graph of volume (height), frequency (depth), and time (width). Made of polyethylene foam cut with a water jet it’s very comfortable, available in different colors for a “loud” $7,280…

A few years passed by since the Pacman mania but we didn’t forget, at least Italian company Qayot did not, and they created the Poufman living room set. The wooden support and polyurethane padding makes it resistance, and it’s covered by a fabric and polyester cover that’s both stain-resistant and removable.
