Accommodating 1 or 2 office workers the H2Office is a purpose-built floating office. Fitted out with a work space containing wood-like flooring, a large L-shaped desk and a shelving unit. There is also a sun deck for moments of contemplation and a L-shaped “break-out” carpeted area that features a pull-out bed for occasional all nighters.

Plus you can add kitchen appliances and for the eco-conscious solar panels. With pricing starting at GBP 59,950 plus VAT it might be a viable option for those pushed to find affordable office space.

But also consider the possibilities for waterfront retail – marina operators – to make use of water too shallow for most other boating purposes. And no doubt there are hundreds of ideas for ‘pop-up’ businesses.

The owners of Hana Ranch on Maui, Hawaii listed their 4,500-acre property for $65 million. The Honolulu Star Bulletin recently wrote that the majority shareholder of which is a part of the Getty Trust, has been looking for foreign buyers from Asia, Europe and Canada for more than a year and wants to find conservationists to preserve the rural nature of Hana. The house has been built in 2005 in Almere, the Netherlands. It’s a contemporary response to a changing cultural environment in the region, that has a growing demand for monumentality, solidity and enclosure as dominant aesthetic values to be expressed in the architecture of private houses. If you already have a nice penthouse in Lower Manhattan and you don’t know how to spend your money, you can do something environmentally great while keeping your home stylish and modern. Matthew Blesso, 35, spent about $1mio on his apartment to get a beautiful rooftop garden with outdoor shower, wooden furniture and decoration, plants into every inch the apartment, etc.

Up for sale for the first time since its completion is a modern loft on Clere Street in London, UK. It was designed by Tonkin Liu in collaboration Richard Rogers, who are not unknown for the crowd. Built on the top of an old warehouse building, maximizes its lofty position with huge glazed south and west elevations that offer spectacular views of the City. Two stories feature 5 bedrooms, a cinema room, two bathrooms, terrace, double-volume kitchen, reception room, an open-plan sleeping area and a study. Part of the upper (huge) terrace is devoted to solar panels and a sedum roof.

Minimalist, contemporary house and garden design by Marcio Kogan. The Osler House consists of three parts: the house itself it separated into two levels, connected with a delicate staircase, and the garden which has a huge pool. The ground floor’s walls can be opened using rotating wooden panels, enabling the rooms to let sunlight in and have a relaxing view to the garden. Unfortunately there are no interior images, but the exterior is beautiful enough in itself.
